Every day is another day to learn something new or learn something old even better.

The Closet Writer
The closet writer writes.
In the darkness of bitter air,
in the sleepy glow of raging night,
in the hot scream before the next silent breath..
the closet writer writes or they will surely burst and die.
Aflame with words burning holes in skin as they seek to exit.
Aflame with words that certainly burn holes in flesh as they latch on to stay.
Tingling with delight as the tears fill an untamed river...
the closet writer WRiGHTS words in the forge of the mind.
Newly formed,
they spew forth from the furnace of the heart into the calm coolness of the page.
Terror-spawned eruptions from the unknown of themself....
painfully hidden from all who know them...
hidden even more fervently from themself.
In the secret of the closet - concealed and safe....
put away to stay...
kept away from the writer who would review and destroy....
locked up and lost for another day.
Safe, forgotten, gone.
The closet writer writes when they can no longer contain.
When the pain of expressing is only exceeded by the torment of the long claws on the inside of their skin...
The closet writer hides the writings in a closet,
a box and a drawer.
In a quiet place, secret....
oh the joy of release,
the relieving sting as skin rips away from pink flesh splitting jaggedly between every pore...
the cool rush of escape as the closet writer stands shaking in the wetness of the cruel wind of self-expression.
Pandora's box stands exposed....
opened once again.
Naked to one's own thoughts....
a full house of frights....let go and yet escaping
